Christine A. Timberlake, age 52, of Sturgis, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday at her home.
She was born July 11, 1960, in Kendallville, Ind., a daughter of the late James W. and Hannah (Combs) Timberlake.
Christine was a homemaker and a resident of Sturgis most of her life. She was first married LaWayne Shepherd in 1981. This marriage ended in divorce.
Surviving are two sons, Adrian (A’nna) Shepherd of Sturgis and Earnest Michael Stasker of Grand Rapids; daughters, Ambrosia Adams of Three Rivers, and Rachel and Jessica Adams both of Colon; several grandchildren; and her significant other, James Cobb of Sturgis.
Christine was a good-natured person with a free spirit and a love for animals. She was loved and will be missed by many family and friends.
According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial donations in her memory may be directed to the Hackman Family Funeral Home — Rosenberg Chapel, P.O. Box 9, Sturgis, MI 49091 to help with expenses.
