Authorities say an unlicensed teenage driver failed to yield at a stop sign in southwestern Michigan, causing a crash that killed another motorist. The Cass County sheriff’s department says the crash happened Wednesday afternoon in LaGrange Township. The department says the vehicle driven by the 15-year-old girl from Eau Claire collided with one driven by 40-year-old Adam Koppy of the unincorporated Cass County community of Jones. Koppy’s vehicle went into oncoming traffic and was struck by another driver. The department says Koppy was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The 15-year-old driver and her 16-year-old passenger weren’t injured. Investigators say the driver in the third vehicle was taken to a hospital for treatment. The crash is under investigation. (AP)
