About 100 people gathered for a vigil at the site where a northern Indiana teenager was killed over the weekend in what police say was a drive-by shooting. Relatives and friends of 16-year-old Braxton Barhams of Elkhart said Sunday that his death has them more worried about violence in the city. Resident Shanea Salls tells WNDU-TV that it is sad the teen likely lost his life for no good reason. Elkhart police say investigators arrested a juvenile early Sunday in connection with Barhams’ death. The shooting happened Saturday evening in a neighborhood just south of the city’s downtown. Latrissa Lane tells The Elkhart Truth that her cousin was returning home from a store when he was shot and that family members don’t know the motive. (AP)
