John H. Blood, age 92, of Three Rivers passed away at his home on Tuesday, June 4, 2013. John was born October 24, 1920 in Howardsville, MI to the late Carl and Mabelle(Musser)Blood. John served his country honorably in the United States Air Force during WWII. One June 24, 1944 he was united in marriage to the former Bernice L. Mellor, who preceded in death in April of 2001. John was also preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
John is survived by his three children, Kathryn Blood, Karen Adkins, and Clarence(Jennie)Blood; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.
A service to celebrate John’s life will be held at 2:00p.m. on Monday, June 10, 2013 at Hohner Funeral Home. Visitation will take place on the same day beginning at 1:00p.m. until the time of service.
A private inurnment will take place at Moorepark Cemetery.
