Louise Needham, 64

Louise A. Needham, 64, of Sturgis, died Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne, Ind., after an extended illness.

She was born Oct. 28, 1948, in Jackson, a daughter of Floyd and Mellisa (Kelly) Jones. She had been a resident of Sturgis and LaGrange, Ind.

On Oct. 14, 1967, she married Willie G. Needham in Flint. He preceded her in death Feb. 27, 2000.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are two daughters, Sheila Needham of Sturgis and Sally Needham of Chicago; two sons, Floyd (Sharon) Needham of Loveland, Ohio, and Theodore Needham of Fort Wayne; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary (Chet) Hambaugh of Wyoming and Linda (Wayne) Chambers of Ionia; a brother, Don (Violet) Jones of Greenville; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; and her parents.

Visitation will be held noon-1 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013, at Farrand Funeral Home in White Pigeon., where services will begin at 1 p.m. Interment will take place in White Pigeon Township Cemetery. Pastor David Bell of Mottville Community Church will officiate. Donations may be directed to a charity of one’s choice.
