Ramona Mae Kline, age 84, of Mendon, died Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Riverview Manor where she had resided the past six months. She was born in Three Rivers on June 2, 1929 the daughter of George and Ruth (Bowersox) Miller. She graduated from Three Rivers High School with the class of 1946. Ramona was married to Maurice S. Kline on Sep. 16, 1951 in Three Rivers. They resided briefly at Fishers Lake before making their home in Mendon. Ramona was a homemaker who enjoyed card playing and board games with her children and grandchildren. She had also worked in the food service department of Mendon Schools for over 15 years, attended the Mendon United Methodist Church, and was a Member of the Mendon Women’s Club.
Ramona is survived by five children, Maurice “Mike” Kline, Jr (Melissa), Steve Kline (Julie) , Tim Kline (Mindy) and Jeff Kline (Jennifer) all of Mendon, and Scott Kline of Allegan; 16 grandchildren, Craig (Stephanie), Andy, Kelly, Ryan, Rachel , Nikki (Tim Moul), Brett, Chad, Jamie (Doug Mostrom), Britta, Kailey, Lyndsie, Nicholas, Cody, Ciera, and Carissa; 5 great-grandchildren, Audrey, Cademon, Allison, Brayden, and Harper; a sister, Shirley (Dave) Huff; 3 brothers, Tom (Tracy) Miller, Jack Miller and Ralph Miller; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and grandson, Kevin; and 2 brothers, George and Richard Miller.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Eickhoff Funeral Home in Mendon. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday June 22, 2013 at the Mendon United Methodist Church with Rev. Bryan Balasa officiating. A private interment of ashes will take place later in Mendon Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Mendon United Methodist Church.
