Damage to crops

Michigan State Police investigators are looking into a report of damage to crops in the Three Rivers area between June 27 and early morning June 28.

According to an agency media release, a vehicle drove at a high rate of speed through a field at 6th Avenue and M-60 – in the vicinity of the Three Rivers municipal airport. The property owner said the crops were test plots and damage amounted to about $30,000.

Similar incidents were found to have occurred near 6th Avenue and Ash Road, and along Haines Road, south of M-60.
