The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department is continuing its investigation into a hit-and-run incident Saturday night in Leonidas Township.
According to a department media release, a female juvenile was walking north in the southbound shoulder of Fulton Road when she was struck by the bumper of a vehicle that failed to stop.
The victim was struck in the leg but did not require medical attention.
The incident occurred at 6 p.m., just south of Green Road.
