Leon Reynolds, age 72, of Sturgis, Michigan passed away Tuesday evening July 29, 2013 at his home.
He was born April 25, 1941 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was raised by his adoptive parents Harry and Lyda Eberhard.
Leon was a lifelong Sturgis resident and a graduate of Sturgis High School with the class of 1960. On May 26, 1962 he married Marlene Killian at the Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sturgis.
Leon was a dedicated employee of the Harter Corporation in Sturgis for over 30 years.
He was a member of the Eagles Lodge #1314 and enjoyed playing golf, fishing, bowling, camping, mushroom hunting and watch NASCAR racing.
He is survived by two daughters: Shelly Reynolds of Sturgis and Christine (Kenny) Daren of South Bend, Indiana; one son: Scott (Jodie) Reynolds of Colon; two grandchildren: Mallory Reynolds and Marissa Reynolds; twin great granddaughters: Callie and Maci Reynolds; one sister: Mary of Indianapolis, Indiana and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and several brothers and sisters.
In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating the life of Leon Reynolds will be held at a later date.
