Stanley Joseph Kedzior, age 83, of Three Rivers, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2013 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. He was born on April 17, 1930 in Detroit, MI., the son of Stanley Paul and Stella (Mazur) Kedzior.
Mr. Kedzior was a graduate of Cass Technical High School and later earned his bachelor’s in architectural engineering from Lawrence Technical University and his Masters Degree in Urban Planning from Wayne State University. Mr. Kedzior loved studying and speaking many different languages. He retired from the Federal Government working with the Department of Housing and Urban Development. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Stanley truly loved animals of all kinds, he was a pigeon fancier and an avid horticulturist.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory, his wife of 60 years, Helen T. (Rossetti) Kedzior, five daughters, Elizabeth (Kedzior) Saine, Mary Kedzior Esq., Susan (Kedzior) Morais,MSW., Angela Kedzior, M.D., Veronica (Kedzior) Yee, B.G.S.; five grandchildren Lily Morais, Don Philippe Kedzior, Maria Morais, Sabina Gelb, and Nicholas Yee.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday July 31, 2013 at the Hohner Funeral Home with Rosary service at 7:30 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Fr. Mathew Manalel as celebrant.
Interment will be held in Riverside Cemetery.
