Sue Dearduff, age 64, of Sturgis, died Saturday, July 13, 2013, at Sturgis Hospital in Sturgis.
She was born Feb. 22, 1949, in Sturgis, to Vernie C. and Dorothy B. (Merchant) Saddison.
She was previously employed at Javelin, Kenco and Multiplex as a laborer. She enjoyed spending time with her family, woodworking, crafts, baking and spending time at the lake.
She is survived by a son, Carry Dearduff of Muncie, Ind.; four daughters, Cathy Brammer of Muncie, and Fay and Alan Vanderbosch, Sonya Dearduff and Katina Dearduff, all of Sturgis; two brothers, Terry Saddison and Louis Saddison; a sister, Thelma Dillen; 19 grandchildren, William Fiala, Courtney Miles, Taylor Dearduff, Amber Dearduff, Kayla Berry, Christopher Burkhead, Nikki Prichard, Jason Bickel, Alan Vanderbosch, Ashley Lucas, Bridgett Burkhead, Alexis Vanderbosch, Tyler Dearduff, Megan Rettschlag, Joey Dearduff, Axel Schrader, Kisty Schrader, Kissyfur Dearduff and Honey Wood; 15 great-grandchildren, Corey, Kaleb, Camden, Davey, Ava, Indica, Dawson, Alyssa, Nevaeh, Zayden, Zoiee, Jasmine, Mackenzie, Makaylee and James.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a granddaughter.
Burial will be at noon Saturday, July 20, 2013, at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Sturgis. A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 20, 2013, at Williams Lake on Krontz Road in Sturgis.
