Audrey Cline, 92

Audrey L. Cline, age 92, of Sturgis, MI passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 06, 2013. She was born July 8, 1921 in Branch County, Michigan to the late Guy J. and Dessie (Terhune) West. Audrey graduated from Colon High School with the class of 1939. On June 4, 1949 in Union City, MI she married her soul mate, Wayne E. Cline. He preceded her in death June 1, 1979. She moved to Sturgis from Eaton Rapids, MI in 1957 and has lived at Omena Lake since 1961. She loved her lake home, was a homemaker, and worked in local retail stores. Audrey went to the Sturgis fitness center from 1991 until it closed in 2001 and since that time has walked 2 miles a day at the Doyle Center and is a member of AARP. Surviving are 2 daughters: Sally (Steve) Post of Sturgis, MI and Cindy (Ron) Cundiff of LaGrange, IN; grandchildren: April (Mike) Burger, Steve Hickey, Jr., Mark (Linda) Cline, Beth O’Donnell, Dawn (Jim) Larimer, and Hope Thompson; great-grandchildren: Max Burger and Kennedy Hickey; 6 step great-grandchildren; brother-in-law: Earl Jourdan; and nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 sisters: Violet Wondergem, Frances Sites, and Bernita Jourdan, brothers: Claude (Ruth) West and Charles West; grandson: Kevin O’Donnell, and a stepson: Ivan Cline.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 2:00 -4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 P.M., Thursday, at the Hackman Family Funeral Home – Rosenberg Chapel, 807 E. Chicago Rd., Sturgis, MI 49091. Funeral Services celebrating the life of Audrey L. Cline will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, at the funeral home with Pastor David Farrell, officiating. Cremation will follow the services and the family suggest memorial donations be directed to the Heart Institute of Michigan or the American Heart Association, envelopes are available at the funeral home.
