Babe Block, 86

Lillian “Babe” Campbell Block, age 86, of Three Rivers, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2013 at her home following a brief illness. She was born in Three Rivers, MI. on April 20, 1927 the daughter of Claude E. and Mary (Walls) Waltz.

Lillian has been a lifelong resident of the Three Rivers area. She was a faithful member of the First Presbyterian Church of Three Rivers where she was very active and also the Three Rivers Health Auxiliary.

Babe was preceded in death by her husband Robert Block and one son, Jeffery Block; one granddaughter, Jennifer; and two brothers, Jerome Tulloch and George Renfro, one sister Ethelyn “Toots” McLagan.

Lillian leaves to cherish her loving memory, two daughters, Lori Block-Lavalle, of Three Rivers, and Judy Block of Chitina, Alaska; two grandchildren, Erin West and Wesley Block.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, August 15th, 2013 at the Hohner Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 16th, 2013 at the Hohner Funeral Home with Rev. Brenda Deily officiating.

Private Interment will be held at Riverside Cemetery.

Memorials may be donated to the First Presbyterian Church of Three Rivers. Envelopes available at the funeral home.
