Donut Drive

Motorists in Centreville Tuesday morning were in store for a treat, as the St. Joseph County United Way started its 2014 campaign with the annual Donut Drive.

Executive director Kelly Hostetler said the donut drive also serves as a public thank you for the support provided to the Centreville-based agency.

United Way volunteers will be in each of the county’s eight municipalities over the next 11 days from 7:30 to 9 a.m. The give-away, sponsored by Davis and Davis insurance in Colon, will continue Wednesday in Sturgis, Thursday in Three Rivers and Friday in Colon before resuming next week in White Pigeon, Mendon, Constantine and Burr Oak.

Hostetler said volunteers are not collecting donations.

The St. Joseph County United Way funds 41 local health and human-service agencies.
