Janet Wing, 76

Janet Irene Wing, age 76, of Three Rivers, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, August 25, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 12, 1936 in Three Rivers, MI. the daughter of the late Clarence and Lillian (Withers) Miller.

Janet has been a life long resident of Three Rivers graduating from Three Rivers High in 1954. She was employed at Continental Can before spending 34 years at General Telephone both in Three Rivers and Muskegon. She was also a member of the Presbyterian Church.

Janet was a very compassionate, generous person who genuinely believed in the goodness of all people. She was an avid reader, had a wonderful sense of humor and was known to have never met a stranger.

Mrs. Wing was also preceded in death by two sisters, Sherril Miller-Regan and Joy Brown.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory, one son, David Wing, of Three Rivers; very special friends, Cathy Sorenson, Anita Young, Veronica Hornblower, Alice Pew, and Keeley Haning and many other friends too numerous to mention.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Riverside Cemetery, with Mr. Bruce Ruesink presiding.

Memorials may be donated to the Three Rivers Health Hospice. Envelopes available at the Hohner Funeral Home in care of Janet’s arrangements.
