Kathy Lou Blanchard, age 63, of Three Rivers passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2013 after a courageous battle cancer. Kathy was born on September 4, 1949 the daughter of Edson and Eleanor Warner.
Kathy was employed for the old Three Rivers Hospital as the first woman in the maintenance department. She was also a member of the Riverside Church for 25 years. Kathy loved shopping, going to the beach, going out to eat , but nothing more than God and her family. Kathy was always known for her giving heart and many acts of kindness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Blanchard , one son, Michael Kniffen, and sister, Colleen Weinberg.
Kathy leaves to cherish her loving memory, daughter, Amanda Warner; brother, Daniel(Marsha)Warner; grandchildren, Emily Netherton, Matthew Lagasse, Hailey Kniffen, Shariah Hope, Melachi Johnson, and Taye Johnson; as well as many loved friends and family.
A celebration of Kathy’s life will be held at Riverside Church on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 11:00a.m. with Pastor John Booko officiating.
