LaDonna Ruth “Granny” Roberts, 89, of Three Rivers, passed away on Friday, Sept. 13, 2013 at the Heartland Health Care Center. She was born in Marion, Ind., on Nov. 26, 1923 the daughter of the late Bernie and Ruth (York) Weinberg.
Mrs. Roberts was employed and retired from Continental Can Company after 32 years of service. She has been a long time member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
On Dec. 21, 1941 she married the late Lewis Ezra Roberts Sr. She was also preceded by one son, George Harley Roberts, and two sisters, Gladys and Blanche.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory one son, Lewis Ezra (JoAnn) Roberts Jr. of Three Rivers; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and one brother, Nolan (Jean) Weinberg.
Graveside Services will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21 at Riverside Cemetery, with Pastor Gary Carr officiating.
