Donna Jean Lovejoy, age 85, of Three Rivers, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at the Heartland Health Care Center. She was born in Three Rivers on Jan. 5, 1928 the daughter of Henry and Ella Lucille (Cox) Irwin.
Donna graduated from Three Rivers High School in 1945. On December 11, 1948 she was united in marriage to Mr. Ernest (Ernie) Lovejoy. Donna was employed at Arco Industries, in Schoolcraft, MI. and was a former member of the Three Rivers Moose Lodge. She was an avid bowler and loved to play cards, especially Euchre, and loved doing arts and crafts.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ernie, two brothers, Jim and Eldon Lovejoy, and two sisters, Dorothy Wilcox and Betty Irwin.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory, two brothers, Bob (Greta) Irwin, of Grand Rapids, MI., and Johnny (Edie) Irwin, of Three Rivers; as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at the Hohner Funeral Home, with Pastor Timothy Raakman officiating.
Interment will be held at the Riverside Cemetery.
