Here‘s a reminder that the Marine Corps of St. Joseph County is hosting a ball, which is open to all veterans, active duty personnel and families of veterans.
Event organizers said the ball is to celebrate the 238th anniversary of the founding of the USMC.
Plenty of door prizes will be given away and other items will be auctioned off as a fundraiser for the St. Joseph County Marines Corps League 1401.
State Sen. Bruce Caswell will be the guest speaker. In addition, the event will feature cake, music, an open bar and choice of steak or chicken.
The event starts at 6 p.m. Nov. 9 at the Sturgis American Legion.
