Tyler Eley, 18

Tyler James Eley, age 18, of Constantine, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 28th, 2013 at his home. He was born in Kalamazoo on November 29, 1994, a son of Mike and Jane Eley. Tyler attended Centreville Schools and graduated from Constantine High School in 2013. He worked at the family funeral home for several years, and also at Constantine Auto Parts & Hardware. Tyler loved hanging out with his friends and family. He was a gifted athlete, playing many sports. Tyler was charming, loving, and fun to be around and will be missed by everyone who loved him.

Surviving Tyler are his daughter Sophia Lucarelli, White Pigeon, parents, Mike and Jane Eley, Constantine, sister Devon Eley, Toledo, OH, brother Ryan Eley, Ann Arbor, grandparents, James Eley, Constantine, Jan & Marilyn Hoogenboom, Macedonia, OH, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Pauline Eley.

Relatives and friends will be received at the Eley Funeral Home in Constantine on Wednesday from 4-8 pm and Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Missionary Church, Constantine. Pastor Dennis Smith of Messiah Lutheran Church will officiate. Interment will be in Constantine Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tyler Eley Education Fund for Sophia, at Southern Michigan Bank. Online messages may be left for the family at www.eleyfuneralhomes.com.
