Barbara Jean Phenicie, 71, of Peachtree City, Ga., passed away Nov. 14, 2013. Barbara was born Sept. 5, 1942 in Toledo, Ohio the daughter of Walter and Mildred (Yackee) Kolb. Barbara had been married to her husband, Dale Phenicie, for 51 years. She was a long time teacher’s aid at the First Presbyterian Kindergarten and Preschool, she was also an Elder and a Deacon at the church.
Surviving Barbara are her husband, Dale Phenicie; daughter, Jennifer Phenicie of Kalamazoo; sons, Mark (Lisa) Phenicie of Cullman, Ala. and Jonathan Phenicie of Cumming, Ga.; grandchildren, Morgan Finkle, Caitlin, Aaron, Brianna and Makayla Phenicie; sister, Diane (Larry) Wine of Portage; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Brian Phenicie.
Relatives and friends will be received on Tuesday, Nov. 26, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Eley Funeral Home in Constantine. Religious services will follow at 1 p.m. with Kathy Schuen, First Congregational United Church of Christ officiating. Interment will be at Constantine Cemetery.
