Breaking-and-entering incidents

State police from the Coldwater post are investigating a pair of breaking-and-entering incidents reported last week.

At 5 p.m. Nov. 6, troopers responded to a residence in the 71000 block of Harrison Road in Mottville Township, where a residence was burglarized.

The homeowner told police a four-wheeler, snow blower, television, gaming system and tools were stolen.

On the same day at 8:30 p.m., troopers were called to the 11000 block of Flowerfield Road, where adjacent property owners reported incidents of breaking and entering.

A five-gallon tank of gas and power tools were stolen from a pole barn at one property. A garage at an adjoining property was entered and a chainsaw, generator and other smaller items were stolen.

It is believed the Flowerfield Township incidents took place overnight between Oct. 27 and 28.
