Bob Franks, 60

Robert Harmon “Bob” Franks, age 60, of Mendon died Thursday Dec. 5, 2013 at the Three Rivers Health Emergency Room. He was born in Vicksburg, MI on Dec. 26, 1952 the son of Delbert C. and Lois L. (Chapman) Franks. He attended both Vicksburg and Colon Schools. Bob was married to Debra Rosen in Vicksburg on Oct. 25, 1974, and they have lived near Mendon since 1978. He was a truck driver and had worked for Fastener Coatings, Vanguard Industries, Viking R-V, and most recently at Everlast Roofing. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and motorcycling.

Bob is survived by his wife, Debra; three children, Clayton Franks, Shelly (Thomas) Hall, and Crystal Franks; five grandchildren, Trevor Keo, Dorian Franks, Brendan Keo, Jade Hall, and Jarred Keo; two brothers, Delbert (Wanda) Franks, and Terry (Mary) Franks; eight sisters, Jean (Richard) Ellison, Donna (David) Moyer, Sharon Mead, Cheryl (Joe) Ballman, Barb (Don) Kemp, Sherrie (David) Bresson, Debbie Wells, and Nancy (Brent) Alldafer; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Connie; and a son, Steven.

The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. Monday Dec. 9, 2013 at the Eickhoff Funeral Home in Mendon. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with David Farrell officiating. Burial will be in Mendon Cemetery. Memorials will be directed to the family.
