Two men from Nappanee, Ind., were identified Thursday as the suspects in an alleged armed robbery attempt at Village Pharmacy in Colon. St. Joseph County Prosecutor John McDonough said David Brandys, 22, and Benjamin Dodson, 24, have been charged with two counts of assault with intent to commit armed robbery, one count of fleeing and eluding, and felony firearm. They were arraigned Thursday afternoon. Brandys and Dodson were arrested shortly after they allegedly attempted to rob the Colon business shortly before 6 o’clock Wednesday evening. They were taken into custody following a pursuit that ended on M-66 near Tyler Road on the Nottawa Township/Colon Township line.
