An Indiana woman whose dog vanished when a tornado hit her family’s home says she can’t believe the person who later adopted the lost canine from an animal shelter refuses to return him. The Robinson family’s beloved dog, Rosco, vanished Nov. 17 when a tornado badly damaged the family’s home in the small Fountain County town of Mellott, Indiana. Rosco was found wandering without tags days later about 45 miles away and was brought to the Clinton County Humane Society, where a woman adopted him. Kyla Robinson tells the Journal & Courier she’s working with an attorney in hopes of getting Rosco back. She says her 10-year-old daughter, Madison, still cries about Rosco. Robinson says her daughter hopes “these people will have a heart and give him back.” (AP)
