Teresa Louise “Blue Bike” Williams-Holdren, age 50, was released from a long four-year battle of Hodgkins lymphoma at her home on the morning of Dec. 5, 2013.
She was born Dec. 5, 1963, in Grand Rapids, to the late Lois Ann Hagen and Ronald James Schipper. She was a resident of Sturgis for a short three years and briefly lived in Constantin,e but everyone knew Teresa as the woman on the hill, M-60, Three Rivers.
On Dec. 27, 1982, she married Randy J. Williams of Three Rivers and were married until his death parted them in 1996. She later married Jessie Franklin Holdren on May 22, 2004. He later passed of lung cancer.
She worked at Deboar Asphalt and Southern Michigan Rubber Company.
Teresa was a strong, loving woman and mother. She truly was the heart and soul of her family. Bubbly, blunt, and bold! She will be missed by all.
Surviving are a son, Benjamin Robert Williams of Three Rivers; a daughter, Anna-louise (Adrian) Shepherd of Sherwood; a step-daughter, Nichole Williams of Three Rivers; two brothers, Ronald James Schipper Jr. and Scott Schipper, both of Alabama; two sisters, Dawn (David) Heath of Three Rivers and Kathy (Danny) McCutcheon of South Carolina; 11 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will hold a memorial service in her honor at 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, 2013, at Riverside Church, 207 E. Michigan Ave, Three Rivers. Flowers and donations may be sent there at that time.
