Vera T. Armstrong, 91, of Plainwell, died Dec. 20, 2013 at the Stanford Lodge, Plainwell. She was born Jan. 16, 1922, the daughter of George and Neva (Romig) Fisher.
A time to gather with the family while sharing food and refreshments will begin at noon on Monday, Dec. 23 followed by a service at 2 p.m. at the Life Story Funeral Home, Betzler-Kalamazoo, 6080 Stadium Drive; 375-2900. Burial at Moore Park Cemetery.
Vera was preceded in death by her husband, William Armstrong, in 2009; grandson, Jack Armstrong; two sisters, Joyce Black and Arlene Wright. Members of her family include three children, George Armstrong (Vivian Franklin), Kathryn Cook and Lynne (Lee) Scheffers; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; sister, Muriel Livanec; brother-in-law, Elmer Black.
