Willa Mae Clark, age 76, of Centreville, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2013. She was born April 6, 1937 in Cornette, KY, the daughter of the late Raliegh and Retha (McCallum) Parker. She was married to James R. Clark on September 27, 1958 in Jellico, TN. To that marriage was born three children. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in KY., later transferring to New Beginnings Church of Sturgis. She attended and graduated from Hazel Green High School in KY. She worked at Denton Mills until it closed, then retired from Eaton Corporation in Three Rivers in 1999. She loved her church family and friends. Her greatest love was God and her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, 1 son, James D. (Sherrie) Clark, Sturgis, 1 daughter, Julie Clark (Tom Waltke, Jr.), Burr Oak, 5 grandchildren, Heather (Pablo) Valasco, Centreville, Roger Bogema, Centreville, Bridgette (John) Alley, Burr Oak, Michael (Meranda) Clark, Clarkston, Tiffany Butz, Canton, 5 great grandchildren, Braxton, Cole, and Collin Alley, 1 brother, Ernie (Irma) Parker, KY, 1 brother in law, Jim Hurley, KY and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, 1 daughter, Penny Brawn, 2 sisters, Irene Hurley and Norma Watkins, 1 niece of KY, 1 son in law, 1 grand son in law, aunts and uncles.
Relatives and friends will be received on Thursday, December 19 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the New Beginnings Community Church, M-66, Sturgis. Religious services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the church with Pastor Randy Evans and Pastor Ron Bell officiating. Interment will be at Nottawa Cemetery.
