Jim Pauli, 80

James Maurice Pauli, 80, of Three Rivers, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013 at Rose Arbor Hospice of Kalamazoo. James was born in Three Rivers on Oct. 20, 1933 the son of James M. and Maxine (Barbieri) Pauli.

James served in the Korean Conflict until his honorable discharge from the U.S. Army. He was a resident of Three Rivers until moving to Battle Creek and then Midland where he lived until moving back to Three Rivers several years ago.

Jim was an avid golfer and occasional sailing enthusiast. He worked most of his professional career for First of Michigan Corporation and was a member of the Midland Rotary organization.

James was preceded in death by his parents and his two brothers, Tom Pauli and Joe Barbieri.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory, daughter, Louise (Todd) Hofer of Houghton Lake; son, Jim (Cheryl) Pauli of West Bloomfield; grandchildren, Jason and Jared Pauli.

In accordance to James’ wishes cremation has taken place and private graveside services will take place at a later date.
