Norman Roush, 81, of Grand Haven, passed away Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014. Norm was born Aug. 1, 1932 to Harry and Louise (Gross) Roush in Benton Harbor. He married Mary Black on June 12, 1963. She preceded him in death. In his leisure time Norm enjoyed golfing, traveling and bowling with his buddies on his men’s league. Norm also enjoyed the time he spent with his family and cheering on the University of Michigan football team.
Norm is survived by his daughters, Donna Weyek Roush of Grand Haven, Patricia (Scott) Sullivan of Edwardsburg, Pamela (Doug Ward) Deal of Three Rivers; sons, Robert (Jackie) Black of Bristol, Ind., Matthew (Sue) Roush of Dearborn, Tim (Pam) Roush of Plainfield; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and also several great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Edith (Joe) Johnson of Surprise, Ariz.; brother-in-law, Mason (Brenda) Newman of Portage; brothers, Wally (Jackie) Roush of San Diego, Calif. and Robert (Margaret) Roush of S.C.; sister-in-law, Mary Roush of Lansing.
Norm was preceded in death by his son, Michael and brother, Richard. The funeral service for Norm will be 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 25 at Klaassen Family Funeral Home. Interment in Grand Haven Township Historic Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family 6-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, at the funeral home.
