Harold “Bob” Stiver, age 86, of Vicksburg, passed away at his home on February 11, 2014. Bob was born March 24, 1927 in Schoolcraft to Fred & Mahla (Taylor) Stiver. He proudly served our country in the Army during WWII. He retired after 34.5 years from Consumer’s Energy. A life member of the Masonic Lodge #118 of Schoolcraft, Bob was also a member of the American Legion Post #475 of Schoolcraft. Visitation for Bob will be on Friday February 14th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Life Story Funeral Homes, Vicksburg; 409 S. Main Street (649-1697). A memorial service will held at a later date. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings Jean, Miriam, Bessie, Frank & Paul. He is survived by his wife of 63 years Joan, his daughter Debbie Stiver-King, his son Jeff (Kathy) Stiver, his grandchildren: Jason & Jessica Stiver, Tara (Nate) Griffioen, Nick (Jessica) Zantjer, and Tim (Ashley McKenzie) Zantjer, his great grandchildren Ava, Skyler & Jayden, his siblings Kenneth (Shirley) Stiver, Fred G.
