Naomi Grace Jackson, age 61, of Three Rivers, passed away suddenly on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Borgess Medical Center. She was born on January 4, 1953 in Three Rivers, MI., the daughter of the late Willard Edson and Gladys (Cochran) Slack.
Ms. Jackson has been a lifetime resident of this area. She owned and operated several foster care homes over many years. Naomi was an exceptional caregiver for many adults, elderly, and children. Naomi found her calling caring for those around her and the less fortunate which often included friends and neighbors. Naomi loved animals growing up on a farm and raising many different livestock. She also loved to shop and go antiquing. Most of all she loved her children and grandchildren.
Ms. Jackson was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Dorothy Ware.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory, two children, Lisa (Scott) Karle, of Three Rivers and Craig (Lindy) Jackson, of Jones, MI.; six grandchildren, Breanne, Trenton, and Isabella Karle, Kristopher, Zachery, and Parker Jackson.; nieces, Tammy Tatro and Ammie Bottger; nephew, Warren Ware.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 2, 2014 at the Hohner Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Elkins officiating.
