Rolene L. French, age 80, of Coldwater, passed away, Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at Community Health Center of Branch County.
Rolene was born Sept. 3, 1933, in Matteson Township, a daughter of the late Merton E. and Golda C. (Hovarter) French.
Rolene had lived in Branch County all her life and was a member of the former Matteson Brethren Church.
She is survived by a sister, Daisy Mae Myers of Leonidas; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Leon L. French, in 1980, and Junior M. French, in 1991.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Schipper Funeral Home in Colon. Funeral services celebrating the life of Rolene L. French will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, at the funeral home, with Mr. David Farrell officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeside Cemetery in Colon.
If desired, memorials may be made in memory of Rolene to Leonidas Do Best 4-H. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
