Al Young, 55

Alfred Eugene Young, 55, of Three Rivers, passed away suddenly on March 4, 2014 at his home. He was born in Three Rivers on Jan. 18, 1959 the son of the late Lloyd and Neva Mae (Miller) Young.

“Al” as he was affectionately known has been a faithful volunteer for many community organizations most recently at the County Closet.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two grandchildren, Nelson M. Daniels and Neva L. Walden.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory, his wife, Julie (Walden) Young, whom he married Oct. 3, 1980. Four children Kenneth Walden, Shonda Walden, Jason Walden and Lacy McClain. Four siblings, Ida Fisher, Doris Rudloff, Kirk Young and Carrie Hurt. Seven granddaughters and seven grandsons, four great-grandchildren.

Per Al’s request, cremation has taken place.
