Dorothy June Davis, 75, of Sturgis, passed away Wednesday morning, March 19, 2014 at her home.
She was born June 26, 1938 in St. Joseph County, daughter of the late Howard and Dorothy (Menbeck) Bell.
June lived most of her life in Sturgis. She married Alan D. Davis in Centreville.
She retired from the Holiday Inn in Sturgis following 20 years of dedicated employment. Following her retirement she became a homemaker. She loved her dogs and collecting bells.
June is survived by her husband, Alan; six sons, Robert Tullos of Sturgis, Doug Tullos of Manistee, Bruce Tullos of Muskegon, Randy Tullos of Sturgis, Leslie Tullos of Sturgis and Gary Tullos of LaGrange, Ind.; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one brother, Lawrence Bell of Three Rivers and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Viola Lamerson and four brothers, Jack Bell, Bill Bell, Jim Bell and Howard Bell.
In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends and relatives from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Rosenberg Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 807 E. Chicago Rd., Sturgis, MI 49091, 269-651-3284. Private burial of the ashes will take place at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Sturgis.
