Archive of Bruce Snook’s River Country Journal

A fundraising effort to help establish an exhibit at Three Rivers Public Library is being spearheaded by a pair of Three Rivers men.

Chad Ely and Knute Judsen plan to set up a computer terminal that will feature the full, seven-year archive of Bruce Snook’s River Country Journal.

The website quickly established itself as a legitimate, source of local news from its inception in 2006. After Snook passed last August, however, the status of RCJ had remained in a holding pattern.

Judsen and Ely, who run Geek Genius in Three Rivers and were responsible for building, designing and hosting Snook’s website, said RCJ deserves to be showcased in a place where it can be accessed by the public.

The effort, which will help raise funds for a desk, chair and other accessories, is being organized with the blessing of Snook’s widow, Raeann.

More information about the project can be found at rivercountryjournal.com.
