Jennifer Miller, administrator of the St. Joseph County Con servation District, was hon ored as the Conservation Partner of the Year by the Branch County Conserva tion District.
The Branch County Con servation District gives the annual award to recognize a deserving person who goes above and beyond the call of duty for the cause of con servation.
The award was presented to Miller last month. She was acknowledged for her commitment of personal time to the Prairie River Watershed Project, the St. Joseph County Riv er Clean-up Project and to the general administration of the St. Joseph County Conservation District.
Carol Higgins, chair of the St. Joseph Coun ty Conservation District Board, confirmed Miller’s commitment to her job and the district’s local projects.
The St. Joseph County Board of Commissioners this week also acknowledged Miller’s award and concurred she is a worthy recipient.
