Conservation Partner of the Year

Jennifer Miller, administrator of the St. Joseph County Conservation District, was honored as the Conservation Partner of the Year by the Branch County Conservation District.

The Branch County Conservation District gives the annual award to recognize a deserving person who goes above and beyond the call of duty for the cause of conservation.

The award was presented to Miller last month. She was acknowledged for her commitment of personal time to the Prairie River Watershed Project, the St. Joseph County River Clean-up Project and to the general administration of the St. Joseph County Conservation District.

Carol Higgins, chair of the St. Joseph County Conservation District Board, confirmed Miller’s commitment to her job and the district’s local projects.

The St. Joseph County Board of Commissioners this week also acknowledged Miller’s award and concurred she is a worthy recipient.
