Doris E. Mallo, age 82, of Constantine, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Three Rivers Health. Doris was born in Cass Co. MI on October 19, 1931, a daughter of Fred L. and Alma (Adam) Parris. She graduated from Constantine High School in 1949 and attended Business School in South Bend. On May 2, 1953 Doris married James R. Mallo at Porter Baptist Church in Constantine. She was a lifelong homemaker as well as helping in the operation of the family farm. Doris loved caring for her family and also enjoyed gardening.
Surviving are her husband James Mallo, two sons Steve (Vickie) Mallo, Bruce (Cynthia) Mallo, all of Constantine, grandchildren Jennifer Beta, Chad, Andrew, Brian, Jeremy, Jessica, Ashley, Cody, Emily and Daniel Mallo, and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and son Rex Mallo.
Relatives and friends will be received Monday from 12 – 3 p.m. at Eley Funeral Home in Constantine where Religious Services will follow at 3:00 PM on Monday, April 28th, with Bill McClain officiating.
