Three Rivers leaf pick-up

Due to November’s earlier-than-expected snowfall, the Three Rivers Department of Public Services will be picking up leaves April 21 only in the city’s Second District.

DPS Director Amy Roth asked Second District residents have their leaves in the street by 7 a.m. on pick-up day. Crews will be completing one pass on every street.

In addition, due to the late November wind storm, department crews will be picking up brush in all districts, also beginning April 21.

As a reminder, Roth said it is a violation of city ordinance to place yard waste or debris in the street or the terrace area at times other than those designated for leaf and/or brush collection. The city’s compost area is at 1015 S. Lincoln Ave. and is open for yard waste drop off.
