Berlin “Fuzz” Murle Kunz, Jr., age 66, of Marcellus passed way on Friday, May 2, 2014 at his home. He was born June 28th 1947 in South Bend , IN the son of Berlin Kunz Sr and Margie Kunz (Mills). In 1957 the family moved to White Pigeon Michigan, where he attended White Pigeon Highschool. On November 2nd 1968 he married Elizabeth Marlene Loomis and began their life together in Three Rivers MI. where they raised 5 children; Tammy (Troy) Russell, James Kunz, Gene (Tiffanie) Kunz, Kelly (Joseph) Singleton, Lauren Matthew (Shasta) Kunz. In 2000 he and Marilyn Slack started together, a new chapter in his life where he joined in raising Allen Kahler, Andrew (Jodi) Kahler as his own children.
Berlin is preceded in death by his father Berlin Kunz Sr.
He is survived by his mother, Margie Kunz (Mills). 2 siblings: Steven (Laurna) Kunz, Sally (Norman) Hartsell . His wife Elizabeth Marlene and Marilyn Slack. 7 children , 27 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren plus aunts, uncles, neices, nephews, cousins and many beloved friends.
Berlin has enjoyed a life long career as a maintanence technition, mechanic in auto and motorcycle, and a master of all trades. He has enjoyed motorcycling, camping, hunting and many more outdoor activities. Since his illness he has found great pleasure in Bird Watching.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7th, 2014 at the Hohner Funeral Home.
A celebration of Berlin’s life will be held 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 8th, 2014 at the Hohner Funeral Home.
Interment will be held in Moorepark Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be left to the West Michigan Cancer Center. Envelopes available at Hohner Funeral Home in care of arrangments.
