A preliminary hearing for a former, part-time Constantine reserve officer was postponed and is expected to be rescheduled next week.
Raymond McCann II, 46, was supposed to appear for a preliminary hearing Thursday in district court on a charge of perjury. McCann, a Three Rivers resident, is accused of giving false testimony under subpoena two years ago in a case related to the death of Jodi Parrack.
Investigators said McCann is not charged with Parrack’s homicide, though he remains a person of interest, they have said.
The County prosecutor’s office said the postponement in the preliminary hearing was the result of a scheduling issue. The matter had been set for a partial day and court officials would like to set an all-day allocation for the procedure.
