The Domestic and Sexual Abuse Services of St. Joseph County has announced its third annual fundraiser will take place May 17.
“Walk a Mile in Her Shoes” begins at 10 a.m. at Three Rivers High School. Participants are asked to secure ledges for walking at least one lap around the school’s track. Though not a requirement, men are encouraged to wear high-heeled shoes in keeping with the theme of the event.
Shoes will be provided for those who decide to accept the challenge.
A 5K run will precede the walk. It starts at 9 a.m.
