Jo Ann Rentfrow, age 71, of Three Rivers, passed away peacefully Tuesday evening with her loving family at her side. She was born on June 20, 1943 in Three Rivers, MI., the daughter of the late Leonard and Lorene (Savage) Dane.
Jo Ann has been a lifelong resident of Three Rivers. On Dec. 7th, 1959 she was united in marriage to the love of her life, David F. Rentfrow. Together they raised four wonderful children which were the center of her life. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, L.O.B. Card Club, watching Tigers baseball games, square dancing, camping, fishing, mushroom hunting, ceramics, geneology, and cooking for her family and friends.
Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents, and one granddaughter, Monica Kathleen Rentfrow.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her husband, David F. Rentfrow, of Three Rivers; three sons, David J. Rentfrow, of Sturgis, MI, John (Caroline) Rentfrow, of Three Rivers, and Doug (Anne) Rentfrow, of Mattawan, MI; daughter, Dana (Robert) Kipker, of Three Rivers; six grandchildren, Rachel Rentfrow, Lindsey (Nick) Rentfrow-Gagnon, Kimberly Rentfrow, Ashley Kipker, James Kipker, and Emily Kipker. Numerous cousins and extended family and many close friends.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, June 27th 2014 at the Hohner Funeral Home.
Funeral Services for Jo Ann will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 28th, 2014 at the Hohner Funeral Home, with Pastor Gary Carr officiating.
Interment will be held in Riverside Cemetery, Three Rivers.
