Jo Ann Stevens, age 65, of Three Rivers, passed away on Thursday, June 26th, 2014 at Borgess Pipp Medical Center in Plainwell, MI. She was born on August 6, 1948 in Leonidas, MI. the daughter of the late William and Evelyn (Comadoll) Hagen.
Jo Ann graduated from Three Rivers High School and in 1966 she married Mr. Edwin R. Stevens. She attended Glen Oaks Community College. Mrs. Stevens was employed at Three Rivers Community Schools in the bus garage for many years and later started Jo Ann’s Cakes. Jo Ann was very proud to start a relief group for the Dessert Storm Troop’s which her son Daniel belonged to, sending care packages and sundries to our troops overseas.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory, husband, Edwin R. Stevens, of Three Rivers; two sons, Edwin (Kim) II., of Three Rivers, and Daniel (Lorie) Stevens, of Muldrow, OK.; one sister, Donna Motter, of Three Rivers; nine grandchildren, Dan, Josh, Tim, Aleia, D.J., Betty, Dawn, Raechel, and Mihn. Ten great-grandchildren, Sophia, Amelia, Michael, Allie, Cody, Odie, Jacob, Kylee, Morgan, and Nathan.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until time of memorial services at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1st, 2014 at the Hohner Funeral Home, with Mr. Jacob Sheber as celebrant.
