scott mercerScott Michael Mercer, age, 55, of White Pigeon, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2014, suddenly at his home. Scott was born on July 18, 1958, a son of William “Sam” and June (Conder) Mercer in Sturgis. He graduated from Constantine High School with the class of 1976. On November 29, 2002 he married Theresa “Tina” (Ray) Mercer in White Pigeon. Scott currently owned and operated Mercer RV repair. He perviously worked at Camp Eberhart as maintenance director, and at Owens-Illinois from 1989 to 2010. Scott enjoyed fishing, camping, mushroom hunting, NASCAR and riding his Harley.

Surviving are his wife Tina Mercer, White Pigeon, a daughter, Tabitha (Eric) Mercer-Feltoff, of Jones, sons Tyler (Kimberly) Mercer of White Pigeon, Drew Bower, of Constantine sisters, Carol Hitchcock, of Three Rivers, Sharon Mercer, of Sturgis, brother, Jerry Mercer, of Hartford, MI, grandchildren, Aubrey and Amelia Mercer, Eddie Bower, niece Tera (Matt) Mercer-Loker, nephew, Jeff Mercer, and great nieces, Ella and Ava Loker and several nieces and nephews and his dogs Max and Winston. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Carl, Charles and William Mercer.

Relatives and friends will be received on Sunday, June 8, 2014 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Eley Funeral Home in Constantine. Religious Services will take place at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 9th, at the Funeral Home with Pastor Kathy Schuen, First Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, Constantine, officiating.
