Woman charged with child sexually abusive material

A Burr Oak village trustee has been arraigned on charges of possession of child sexually abusive material and use of a computer to commit a crime.

Meadow Woodman, 33, was arraigned last week in District Court. The eight-year village council member was arrested following an investigation that started in February, according to state police investigators.

Det. Sgt. Todd Petersen said Woodman allegedly sought a video of two teens involved in a consensual sex act be sent to her cell phone. Woodman allegedly requested the video after she was aware of its existence, police said.

Woodman, who also serves as high school volleyball coach and is a senior-class advisor, is expected back in court June 26 for a hearing on evidence against her, according to investigators.
