Andy Schick, 75

Andrew A. Schick, 75, of Vandalia Mi, passed away at 5:30am Friday, July 4th 2014 at the Center for Hospice Care in Elkhart, In. Andy was born in Three Rivers, MI on March 10, 1939, the son of the late Arlo Schick and Willo (Clendenin ) Schick. On June 15, 1958 he married Judith Atkinson, who survives. He is also survived by his three sons, John (Melissa) Schick and grandsons Andy, Mark and Cadell of Chesterton IN., Thomas Schick and grandson Zachary (Lorrin) Schick and great-Granddaughter Rozlyn, of Jones, MI. Matthew (Jody) Schick and Granddaughters Katelyn and Susan of Marcellus. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Martha (Robert) Marsh of Union City, MI.

Andy was a man of wide acquaintances and varied business interests, and was always a farmer in Penn Township, Cass County.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to the Oncology Center at Elkhart Clinic for their kind and compassionate care of Andy for the last four years.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 P.M. Monday, July 7, 2014 in the Mater-Ralston Funeral Home, Marcellus.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday July 8, 2014, in the Mater-Ralston Funeral Home with Pastor John Messner officiating. Burial will follow at Poe Cemetery, Jones.
