Judy Ann Grant, 68, of Constantine, passed away Monday, July 21, 2014 at Three Rivers Health. She was born in Schoolcraft, MI on November 16, 1945, a daughter of Marguerita (Hoyt) and Chester Carter. On February 20, 1964 she married John W. Grant in Centreville. Judy worked at Crocker Limited Centreville, Statewide Aluminum Elkhart and Pioneer Hi Bred in Constantine. She enjoyed collecting dolls and searching yard sales. Mostly Judy loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and cherished spending time with them.
Judy is survived by her husband John Grant, Constantine, daughters, Sandy (Terry) Shirk, White Pigeon; Sherry (John) Young, Constantine; Darlene (Bert Shirk) Leister, Three Rivers; son, Richard (Lisa) Grant, Constantine; sisters Helen Shirk, Jennie Hooker, Bonnie McCleod, 1/2 sister Mary Lou Young, brothers Butch Carter and Merle Carter, 1/2 brother Dick Allen, 11 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Pat Schragg and 1/2 brother Don Allen.
Relatives and friends will be received Wednesday from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm at Eley Funeral Home in Constantine, where Religious Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 24th, with Reverend Scott Manning officiating.
