Man taken into custody

A 22-year-old Three Rivers man was taken into custody after he tried to evade police by escaping a residence from a second-floor landing.

According to a department media release, officers last Saturday afternoon went to a residence in the 400 block of Thomas Street in order to locate the subject regarding several warrants issued for his arrest.

Shortly after officers knocked on the front door, they noticed the subject climbing down the house from a second-floor porch. He was quickly taken into custody and charged with resisting and obstructing, in addition to charges related to the warrants.
