Missing woman is okay

Police in southwest Michigan say a Dowagiac woman who went missing last week is okay. 25-year-old Rose Morris checked in with both her family and the police Tuesday night. Family members had told police she was last seen Thursday evening when Morris said she was going out with friends. Morris told her family that she had been arrested and was in jail. But, police say that’s not true. That they monitored all area hospitals and jails and she didn’t show up at any of them. The mother of two told police she had no idea she had been reported missing and was in no danger, but refused to tell them where she was. Morris has been removed from the ‘missing persons’ list.  (MRN)
